Copper Wire Rope Necklace with Hollow Lampworked Red and Gold Bead

I have handcrafted all of the elements in this 22" rope necklace, using fine gauge copper wire to create the rope, and medium gauge wire for the clasp. The focus is a red lampworked glass bead with aventurine (goldstone) embellishment, made at my torch. It is hollow, but with slightly thicker walls, to reduce its fragility.

The necklace is 22" long; the bead approximately 1" x 1 1/4". The bead had been kiln annealed for strength and durability, but it IS glass, so care should be taken in handling it.

While I have tried to capture the colors as accurately as possible, monitors will vary.
